Bike ride

A little while back we decided it was time to buy Riley a bike. She was SO excited. It has training wheels and a basket and ribbons… unfortunately our neighborhood is really hilly, so it’s been hard for her to learn. My mother had the brilliant idea to take her to a basketball court, and Riley did great:

Before starting she had to kiss and hug her lamby, who rode in her basket. Sadly, the experience ended with a bad fall (I think she just turned too quickly. My mom actually caught it on tape, but we erased it because it’s too awful to watch) and Riley scraped up her face and knee. Grandma took good care of her though, and when Sage and I got home she was happily eating a popsicle.
