Riley helps Mom graduate

Riley was especially concerned about how Mom looked in that funny hat while she walked her across the stage. For her assistance she got a special gift from Dean Pizzo–a certificate and a pin! Not as fancy as Mom’s diploma, but still pretty cool. A little later, at the champagne reception, she saw her opportunity and took matters into her own hands:

Congratulations! I’m so proud of you! Yay!
It was awesome to be able to see you graduate.
We’ll come visit soon! I think you should have a residency blog so I can live vicariously through you. 😎

Elise and Riley,
I look at this posting almost everyday. Riley is such an inquisitive and busy addition to your family. You make me feel like I was there at your graduation, watching Riley pull your hat off your head. Hope your residency is turning out to be stimulating and intense and gratifying. And I hope you are getting some sleep and rest in between playing with Riley and Sage. Love, Peg
